- Implemented Business Expansion and Retention Program - BEAR
This program is designed to continuously communicate with the business community and capture businesses ideas, plans and concerns and inform businesses of local, State and Federal programs and incentives. If there is a concern, BEAR will relay the information to the appropriate partner and/or community.
- Since its start in September, BEAR reached out to 68 companies
- Surveyed/visited 18 companies
- Expansion and retention opportunities (estimates):
- Capital investment potential: $12 MM
- Job creation potential: 235
- Jobs to be retained: 185
